Kate Masters is a painter based in Saugerties, NY. She has lived most of her life in the towns and cities along the Hudson River, including Jersey City, Hoboken, and Nyack, NY.

After decades of working full-time jobs, raising a family, and dreaming about the art she wanted to make, Masters began painting in earnest in her late 50s. Most of her recent works are landscapes nspired by local settings, done in oil.

She is a founding member of Circle24 Collective, and serves on the Board of Advisors at Woodstock School of Art. She has participated in the Mohonk Preserve Plein Air Art Walk and Auction, and The Hudson Valley Plein Air Festival. Her work has been shown in numerous Hudson Valley locations, including ArtBar Gallery, Arts Society of Kingston, Emerge Gallery, The Muroff-Kotler Gallery, WomensWork.Art, Woodstock Artists Association & Museum, and Woodstock Schoolof Art.
